Eagle Industries gear?

make sure to get that frame sheet, it helps out a lot!!!!! Internal frame pack for those who don't know....

Sadly, Eagle told me they are not making these right now, and I can't find one (yet)..... I want one! If anyone knows a source, please let me know!

Also, on the A-III Molle I had, it was multicam and the molle was all multicam too..... now it looks like the molle on the things may be coyote!! That will suck.... my ALL Multicam was awesome. I hope it's still that way! ALL Multicam!

I'll know by wednesday!

Never tried out Eagle, I do love my Kifura and ATS Raid (the ATS made model not the Eagle). But I'm kinda old school despite my age, My main packs are a medium ALICE for April-Oct and a Large ALICE for Oct-April. Need that extra space for snivel gear/food. I'm a real big fan of the ALICE, it was my first pack so it's what I'm used to. Eagle does have a very good product behind the name, my only concern with the poster above who mentioned them making things for the .mil, .mil always goes for the lowest bidder or everyone would be issued Kifaru or MR. So I do hope their quality stays the same.

I found this on one of my frequent buyers sites, (mods if this is frowned upon please edit this out, just trying to help dude out) Link To Eagle A111 on Clarence Link To Eagle A111 MOLLE (I don't work for the site, but I like sending business cus they've been very good to me).

Also HSGI makes bomb proof Sh*t, I have a HSGI Silverthrone, it's a vest but I believe they do make a pack or two, if not you could try a vest, I had surgery on my back and chest and needed something that distributed the weight better. Just a thought.

Hope your A111 or whatever you end up settling on is easy on your neck, trust me I feel your pain on having to buy 5-6 packs because of a medical issue. Good luck pal.

It is my understanding that Eagle Industries has moved some production out of the country. It may or may not affect your decision, but it's worth knowing.

It's hard to find anything made totally in America anymore, if it's made inside America the supplies are from China. It's stupid, how difficult is it to spend 50 more cents a spool for these companies to keep production in country.

Hey guys,
I can't find the Becker Patrol Pack on Eagles web page.
Does anyone know if they will have it again in the future?
It's one of Ethan Becker's classic designs so I hope they keep it around.

Ethan, are you out there?
I'm sure they would tell you if they're not going to make your pac any more.

Hey,
thanks for the response and thread. Actually I'm referring to the original pac design by Becker. It's not molly web. It has the pouches integrated on the pac.

Scott

Nothing wrong with MOLLE, it's actually very helpful for balancing out your loads, It's pretty expensive to try it out if you don't dig it, but I'm sure someone would snag it from you if you didn't like it in the end.

Yes I'm thinking about trying it. Thanks for the correction(MOLLE).
Also I've been writing PAC instead of pack. I think it's sleep deprivation.
My biggest problem is letting stuff go. I've got tons of stuff I don't use but I hang on. Guess it's my gear whore syndrome. At least I know I'm not alone.

the Kifaru instructional videos are mindblowing. those packs can do anything!

and for the price, they should! :> i'm keeping my old MountainSmith packs.
