So I got to thinking the other day, and I was wondering how many guys out there were Boy Scouts. More specifically how many are Eagle Scouts? I got my Eagle back freshman year of high school and have some of my best memories from boy scouts. So where are all of the Eagles?

I didn't get mine till I was 20.

Seriously, I left scouts as a wolfsomething I think...

I was an eagle (16 yrs old), a bronze palm, and OA.

But to be honest that feels kind of like a past life. :)

Had a similiar thread a bit back. Think there's quite a few in here. Got mine in 96. Was a good time, learned alot of things the hard way... The best way

I'm a Eagle Scout 2002 and Brother Hood O.A. I also was a Philmont Guide for a summer great times.

i was a life scout by 14 or 15. a brave in mic-0-say, and brotherhood in OA. had everything but my project done for eagle, then i discovered vodka...

When our oldest son joined cubs, I was tricked into becoming ClubMaster for three years ... I still swear they said KegMeister.

Certified RAT Pack #59

I was a Boy Scout but not an Eagle Scout. I failed camping.

Should have found one of the urban troops that went to movies as an activity. :D

Or joined the crew we met in Canada from STL. They paid extra for the Kevlar canoes but had ground them into the rocks so much you could read a newspaper through parts of them. Their satellite phones were cool too. Affordable rates at $10 per minute!

Eagle scout and brotherhood in OA. Been to philmont twice and have an application for employment this summer. Loved everything about scouts

Adam, I grew up on Chicago's south side, but we still went camping. Unfortunately, we had irresponsible adult supervision who allowed sexual abuse of younger kids while they played cards and drank. Not a very positive experience.

My four brothers and I all made it to Eagle. I am planning on going to Woodbadge (adult leadership traing course) next year. My two 9 year old boys are in Cub Scouts and have earned their Tiger, Bobcat, and Wolf badges.

Got my Eagle (long ago). Now I'm a Venture Adviser. Use it as a great reason to go backpacking!

I am sorry to hear this, boy scouting was such a rewarding experience for me and my friends I hate to hear that somebody stole this from you.

I completely forgot about OA I was never very involved as I was part of a huge troop but i was a part.

Anybody else get the High Adventure Triple Crown? Philmont, Ely, and Seabase?
