i literally spent weeks searching forums and reviews and settled on the sennheisers... great name awesome quality i paid around 70 for them $19.99 is a damn steal! im buying another pair for backup..

I just remembered I bought a set of Sennheiser MX 70 VC Sport earphones last fall also. Got them on clearance for $19.99 (regularly $54.99) and they're still in the packaging so I've no idea how they fit or sound.
This thread just reminded me to Google them to see what reviewers think of them.

Not sure what's wrong but I tried twice to edit my previous post with no luck.

Anyhow I was going to say that it looks like I bought a turkey according to one reviewer of the Sennheiser MX 70 VC. Most reviewers mentioned that they're too big for the average ear and some mentioned that they came apart on them. Oh well, I guess I'll give them to a friend with big ears!

the ones i posted have 3 sets of earpieces for all size ears... i highly recommend them

Ear buds are garbage, and they can damage your ears because of their over-emphasis on certain frequencies.]

Stole my thunder. Have never used my earbuds and never will. I treasure my excellent hearing. It's the db's...Don't even like headphones and this is my profession. Loud music is costly. Ever talk to a person who is hard of hearin'? No thanks.

Most earbuds really don't sound THAT great compared to some good over the ear cans. However, for the $, these Klipsch S4 aren't too bad. They do however need a good break-in period (as most do) to sound their best.

i bought a pair of the monster beats earbuds for christmas this year after i tried 6 or 7 brands and i have to say the beats sound GREAT!!! I know that it was a bit expensive but seeing as i listen to them daily in my work...they are well worth it for me. The only part that i don't like is that you have to hit the volume button a little bit when you first plug them in so that the electronics in the line will start working....goes from a far away sound to the best sound i have ever heard in headphones. I have tried the klipsch and i found them too tinny and not comfortable. I had bose before and i still would choose the beats over them...even the bose comfort series...i just think the sound coming out of the beats sounds like a full stereo in my ears. And the beats come with something like ten sets of cushions so you can find a perfect fit so you don't hear ANY external noise.

that being said if you hate the price tag then grab a pair of skullcandy. If you don't mind the bass being heavy then you can't beat them for price/comfort/sound.

I have a pair of bose ear buds and they are the best ear phones I have used with the exception of my shure e2c's. Others might think they are over priced garbage, but to me they were worth every penny.
