...Joe...That would make it a variation 2 of the 4th version ...still made in 1970...LOL...So many "variations" and so little time to figure 'em all out...Hope ya stick around and find out all kinds of neat things from all the great folks here. There are people in here who are walking history books when it comes to Buck knives...I just relay what I've learned from all of them...Have fun...

...Yep it is goose...I found out ( after a LOT of "Bettie" research...
... ) that she spent a lot of time in Florida. She also did quite a bit of fishin' down here as well. Looks like she did pretty good at fishin' as well as just lookin' good all by herself......We do joke around a lot Joe and there's definitely no shortage of senses of humor in here but these guys are serious about their Bucks and the knowledge they have about them. Always read between the jokin' around as you'll find out more and more about Buck and their knives...:thumbup:

I have seen them go for close to $300.00. I would be willing to bet you would not sell it for $250. Considering I only see a few of these per year on ebay what is a good price?
