For Sale: Gil Hibben early 70's knife - 1800.00
Makes me sick to have to let this one go!

This is what looks like a Hunter, according to Mr. Hibben's correspondence it was a custom order designed by the original owner. He specifically asking for two brass screws on the left side handle Mr. Hibben did not know why, and didn't ask. It wasn't a standard model and has no name Mr. Hibben never made one like it before or after.

This knife was made during the early 70's the handle is Rosewood. The blade is 440C the guard and and but is brass. The knife appears to have never been sharpened and after 30+ years is still sharp as anything. The blade is 5" and the overall length is 10"

The price include shipping (insured), if paying by paypal please add 3%

This is the only price drop we will be doing for this piece of history. Gil Hibben's credentials and talent is absolute best in the business. This is a one of kind knife made in Alaska, Mr. Hibben was only there a short time and remebered this knife 30+ years later when he saw it.

After much anguish we are dropping the price one last time. This is so much lower than the value of the knife.

NOW - 1200$ (+3% if paying by Paypal) Shipping included (insured)

Try eBay. You will start people competing for it. Nice knife, I am a big fan of Hibben's work.

I really want this piece to go to a knife collector, so this will be the bottomline price.

I have to sell this knife, to many wedding expenses!
