Hi,

Bob here again, with a knife, that might catch your interest.

It is a Pouch Knife, with early American style blacksmith touch marks.

The knife is 9 1/2 inches overall, and the blade is 4 3/4 inches blade, 1/8 inch thick

I forged it from a file, gave it a tool style handle, it has brass guard, and the bolster is copper wrapped.

A further price drop to $135, from $150, previously $165, w/o sheath, sheath available upon request.

Now, it may be period style, but that don't mean it can't work. This knife would skin a deer or even be a fine woodcraft or 'bushcraft' knife, and with style too.

Man what a knife you fooled me ,Ithought the knife was old . Great job.

Rockywolf - That tang is tapered, with radiused shoulders, the guard and wrap is soldered to the tang, and the tang extends a little farther than 3/4 of the handle. Thanks for asking.

Thank you gentlemen, for the compliments.

Bob

Bob.
Very few knives make me go Wow. But once in while one make me stand back, and reminds me why I am a knifemaker. Thank you.

That's a nice looking piece. You've really captured the period, a sense of nostalgia, a sense of history. Fantastic.
