Early Applegate-Fairbairn knife

GoTo eBy; search "applegate-fairbairn". There's a knife blade - supposedly a first Applegate-Fairbairn listed. Made by Yancy? Is this real? How come we don't hear about things like this anymore? s.f.m.

Hi SF,

TJ Yancey did make the first custom version of that knife in the US, authorized by Col. Applegate.

Since then Bill Harsey made his version and Butch Vallotton made a folding version of the knife.

Al Mar and Boker have done factory versions.
