Hey guys,

A friend of mine has an early Badger that he bought direct from Jerry at a show in 1996.

How can he determine if this is a custom by Jerry or a prodo Badger?

It is a straight handle with slotted screws and micarta scales.

Any idea?

Thanks for all and any assistance!

The best way to tell is send it to me for examination and verification.

I will then in turn let you know exactly what it is.

Pm sent with shipping info!!

Mark---I'm sure you will get some real answers soon.
OINK-GRUNT.

If it is an original Badger Attack, I know that Jerry was selling these knives in 1994. Therefore, it is not a real early production knife. Proto or custom, I don't know with the info provided.

All right, here we go....

I just checked my info.

He said he got it from Jerry at a show sometime between the mid to late 90s. So it could have been '99...

He clearly remembers buying it. He said Jerry spent about 10 minutes telling him how to take care of it, sharpening, etc.

Would this be an A2 or Infi Badger then?

Man that's nice I would have a set of smooth handle slotted bolts,, and does this friend of yours like "cash" more than "badgers"

Oh, he's not really a Busse nut, so he's open to selling but problem being he has no idea what this is worth now...

He wanted to sell it for $300. But I told him to hold up as that is what the current Badgers go for.

I don't know anything about badgers but that one looks nice.
My guess is that it is approx .230 thick and made of INFI. :foot:
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Oh ya, one more thing, "I'll Take it" :D
