Early Benchmade Liner Lock.

I got this knife around 1978. It has a plastic one piece handle/frame with adjustable pivot. Blade is 3" long and is 7" in overall length. It is marked Benchmade USA. There is no carry clip. $75 or offer, plus 3.99 shipping in the USA.

In 1978 Benchamde was named Balisong then in 1988 it became Pacific cutlery....so in 1978 I am pretty sure the word "Benchmade" would not have been on the knife anywhere. So in my opinion you have a knife that was made after 1988.
