I think any Khuk can be used for chopping but some are better at it. I would think the chitlangi is better at it than a survival knife.

Thank you for the reply, I won't be greedy and leave the survival knife for someone else.

I'm still holding out for an R10 or other similar small bushcraft style blade. I'm interested to see what the Karda on my WWII looks like...
