This is an early full Custom, it was made when Ed Brown went out on his own full time. As I understand it he always started off with a 102 prefix so this would be number 40... He called these early guns his "Class A Custom"
It is in wonderful shape and is one of the smoothest .45's I have ever owned or shot.
It has lots of extra strapping and a supported barrel. I did not shoot it very much as I had 14 high end .45's. So when we did go out it would be fired a few clips at a time.
Of all the High End .45's the Browns are my favorites, they function every time and are dead on... Cover with the the sight and squeeze the trigger and it's a hit.
Ed Brown liked this gun so much and the demand was so high that Brown brought this model back as the Classic Custom.
His price on the production gun is $3495.00
My price on this early Full Custom is $2800.00 Delivered to your FFL
Once again, this is an Early Custom Build and not a current production gun that is now shipping.
