My wife got my Fathers Day gift in the mail today and decided I could have it a week early. 50 years of marriage had its perks. [emoji4]

So to my delight and surprise I opened a box with an A.G. Russell Santa Fe Stoneworks Woolly Mammoth Kershaw Ken Onion Leek. I lost my heavy use Leek a year ago and have never replaced it. My wife also knows my obsession with Mammoth Ivory/Bark and Mammoth Bone/Tooth knives. I've got a bunch of them.

This knife has a scale on one side that Black Jet and Mammoth tooth. Black Jet is a mineral that is similar to coal and used in jewelry and gem work.

Anyone else with an early Fathers Day knife or know what you may have coming?

I'm planning on getting my dad a swiss army card or a mini-champ as a suprise! :)

Hey Rappy...I got a card with the mini flash light in it. I use it all the time. It's a super gift.

First of all, congratulations on the 50 years of marriage Mike! That is a wonderful Father's Day Gift.

That is a Sweet leek!

I know a bunch of boxes have been arriving for "her" the past few weeks, disappearing, and I haven't seen anything new around the house or in her wardrobe so.....?
Nothing early, (yet), but the anticipation is growing daily, I wonder what was in all those darn boxes......

Gotta be something good strategy9. Maybe a knife in there somewhere. [emoji6]

I'm hoping, lol... Knife, knives, new stones???

It's funny, how these days I look forward more towards father's day then I have my birthday for quite some time... Birthdays became just another day a decade ago, but father's day, father's day has a real rewarding feeling that comes with it...

That has to be the best looking Leek I've laid eyes on. Congrats Eye, and Happy (early) Fathers Day! 😀

That is beautiful, you are a lucky man. My father passed away a few years ago. I got my father in law a Case Sod Buster Jr. Kentucky Bi Centennial model from 1976. He is from there and graduated from UK. My wife was worried about not being able to find a SS Hinderer Investegator in stock so she consulted with me on where to find one. So, I know what my 3 year old daughter is getting me.

^nice son in law...

I wound up getting my father in law a Buck Open Season folding skinner with the rosewood handle and s30v blade. Hoping he likes it...

i've been eyeing that one in the catalog every month.... you mightve sold me on it

Well...I admit to leaving the catalog open to that page on the coffee table. [emoji12]

It's even better in person.
