Good day, folks! I try to be very detailed in my descriptions and pictures, so please bear with the length of this. I will only communicate through DM/PM here on the forum... - ***SOLD*** - EARLY GRIMSMO NORSEMAN #283 (RWL-34 BLADE STEEL) - A little piece of Grimsmo "Knifemaking Tuesdays" history, this Norseman was finished August 10th, 2014, when John and Erik were still making knives out of John's house garage, and on his original PCNC 1100 Tormach CNC. It is stunning and action is typical Grimsmo drop-shut, guillotine perfection. John did all the work on this knife except the flame anodizing and sharpening, which Erik did beautifully. The blade is clearly engraved "283". Inside one scale is engraved "Norseman July 2014 V4.0", and on the other inside scale is engraved the large Grimsmo helmet logo. It comes with the original linen cloth drawstring bag it was shipped in, to include the original COA/Birth Certificate/Businesscard, and two Grimsmo decals that it came with, and even comes with the plastic mylar ziplock bag with Erik's handwriting on it that everything fit in. FYI, this was before John was including his clamshell cases with all his knives. This is my third early Norseman that John made while still in his home shop, and the last one to leave my collection. This Norseman could justifiably be listed in the "Custom Knives" section, and I'd confidently say it's in 99.99% mint condition, with only one very small spot of anodizing discoloration on the lockbar (see pics). When I ship it, the Norseman will be in an EBossHoss' skull-patterned Bill's Custom Case for added protection.
- ***SOLD*** - RARE OOP ROCKSTEAD 孝 "KOU" #40 (孝 "KOU" = FILIAL PIETY, OR RESPECT FOR ONE'S ELDERS & ANCESTORS) - It breaks my heart to have to let this one go so undervalued, but it is only right and fair. I have severely discounted this rare OOP (Out of Production) Rockstead for ONE SINGLE REASON: I cannot, for the life of me, find the Specifications sheet that came with it. It has everything else as normal: Branded balsa-wood box and signature Rockstead sleeve, info sheet, and foam insert. I know, somewhere, I have the Specifications sheet, but I recall removing it with intentions of scanning it for my records and then forgot to replace it (when I was doing the same for my Rockstead Shin... long since sold). Unfortunately, I never got around to scanning it and now I can't find it... so my loss is your gain. This authentic Rockstead is uncarried and unused and absolutely stunning with its hydraulic-feeling, glass-smooth action. This Kou has the DLC coated and Honzukuri-ground YXR7 blade (~65HRC), with stunning authentic Stingray inlays on both scales. The perfect size EDC Rockstead in my opinion. PLEASE NOTE: If I do find the Specifications sheet, I'll be listing this for over $1,000 due to the rare nature of this discontinued Rockstead. If you buy it and I then come across the Specifications sheet, I will definitely mail it on to you. I"ve even thought about sending this back to Japan so Rockstead can produce a new sheet for me, but I am not going through that trouble... yet... lol. - ***SOLD*** - MICROTECH MSI OUTBREAK SIGNATURE SERIES 210T-1PMOBS (M390MK BLADE STEEL) - Like new in original marked box, dated 10/2024. First and only owner. Never carried, used, or cut. This particular MSI Outbreak configuration with the full-length Tri-Grip polymer handles is now discontinued.
- ***SOLD*** - BENCHMADE 486 細部 "SAIBU" SEIICHI NAKUMURA DESIGN (細部 "SAIBU" = DETAILS; G10/Cocobolo/CPM 20CV BLADE STEEL) - Absolutely authentic and long discontinued, a beautifully made Benchmade with Cocobolo wood details on handles and thumbstuds, with a backspacer that resembles bamboo. In like new condition, however the box is unmarked and I have discounted this knife because of this. The Benchmade box comes with paperwork, AXIS clip tag, and black Benchmade drawstring baggie.
- $100 - KERSHAW IRIDIUM TOPO (14C28N BLADE STEEL) - The Kershaw Iridium Topo was a limited exclusive to the KAI/Kershaw website offered for about a month in the Spring of 2024. The grooved milling on the aluminum topographic handles is a cool and unique feature among other topo-themed knives. Mint and unused, and comes in original box as received from KAI.
