This is a nice example of a early J A Henckels Hobo, or Campaign Knife. It has not been refinished by me, only lightly cleaned and oiled. I cannot find anything comparable on line or through forums. One somewhat similar is twice the price and I believe (based on the blade logo) possibly newer than this one. I have been advised the scales are either bone or ivory, and they have no chips or cracks. My guess is that this knife is either pre WW! or perhaps WW! era. The blade has not been abused, and the spoon and fork are in nice shape.
I hope there may be a J A Henckels collector out there who will recognize this remarkable piece. I will be happy to provide additional info (as I can) and photos as requested.
