I bought this off the forums years ago and have carried it and used it for light tasks. Recently, it was sent back to Ray who gave it a little bit of a makeover (refinished the blade and sharpened the edge, tuned the action). Since then, I have used it a few times but it has sat in my Pelican case recently.

This is a very early (one of the first three) Blast models from Ray. It has a blasted and tumbled D2 blade, contoured black G10 scales (as well as the backspacer), and blasted titanium liners. The blade is flat ground, with a swedge. The clip is made from bent titanium and given the same finish as the blade. It flips on phosphor bronze washers.

This knife has been used and carried, so there is some staining on the D2 blade. It's a great user finish so the staining is not terribly noticeable or unattractive. It has only been sharpened once so there is still tons of life left in it. Lockup is early and solid, it has not moved in the two or three years I have owned the knife. Centering is not perfect, it favors the non locking liner a little bit. Flips fast and smoothly with both the thumbstuds and flipper. I would say the detent is medium strength.

Overall, this is a nice user custom and a good piece for a Laconico completionist. Given the condition, I am asking $350 SOLD shipped.
