A little History...
Rons best friend and Mentor was a man by the the name of Russell Easler (AKA R.O. EASLER) from Woodruff SC.
Russell's daughter is married to a good friend of mine (yeah, i got one).
When Ronnie Died all of his knives, guns, equipment and stock went to Russell. Then Russell dies and all of his and Ronnies stuff went to my buddie.
Thats how I came by this knife. It is a very early knife. The sheath was made by hand and was hand dipped in a mixture of SC bee's wax and then a protective layer of parafin over that. The sheath was made after Ronnies death, but I think he would have liked it.
