This is an early knife from Trace. Very similar to his current Warhawk model, but just a little bit bigger. A2 steel, Paul Bos heat treated.
8 1/2" blade, 7 1/2" actual cutting edge, 14" overall length. Knife is marked 'T.H. Rinaldi Custom Blades USA'. Very nicely fitted micarta handles.
The original kydex sheath was made for a left handed person, and has since been modified. The belt loop has been removed. I suppose you could mount a Tek Lok to it, or carry it another way, such as lashed to a pack. The knife fits very well in the sheath, and the sheath is cord wrapped.
I was told the knife was very lightly used, and hardly carried at all. There are some very faint marks on the blade, some kydex scratches, and what may be some very light oxidation that I could not get to show up in a pic.
This is a very nice overall package, and would make a fantastic user/camp knife etc.
I need to sell this, so I am offering it at slightly less than I paid.
Price: $450 shipped SALE PENDING. Paypal ok- I will eat the fee!
thanks- PM or email questions, or post an 'I'll take it'.
Many thanks to Rat Finkenstein who posted the pics below!!
