If I could only take one, I guess a BK2 would be it. However my personal supply of Beckers has securely anchored the plate I reside on so no real worries of any movement here
Although no Becker would be my first choice for an "urban emergency/survival" knife - that would be the Cold Steel SRK (utility, toughness and relatively light weight - 8 ozs or so)...my Becker choice would be it's closest equivalent, and that would be the BK10 (biggest drawback is it weighs over 12 ozs). YMMV.
It all depends on what room I'm in.
My 16 sits next to the bed on my nightstand when not in use.
My 9 is in our 'craft room', since I still want to make a leather sheath for it.
My 2 is on the table next to my chair in the tv room.
I carry my 11 or 14 daily, so even if I was away from the house, I'm Becker-preppered.

My inclination is the BK-2. You never know when you might need a pry bar after an earthquake. But honestly, it is one of my last choices for almost everything else.
