Easiest old collectors?

Nice score Fritzy,

I like those old 110/112's and there are a few deals out there to be had. I like the old 110's with the brass rocker pins like your latest find. The last one I found is one with no handle pins, but, the blade is a little ruff. However, I like to see these old user knives and wonder what all they have done?????

JB,, The 2006 Blade Guide calls this one a rare version, that doesn't have the scale pins. If you have a copy, read the last line on page 506.

Here is a pic of mine. Yours is the only other pic of one of these I remember seeing posted here. I think EEE may have one also. Not Sure

Thanks Pack Rat...that is cerainly a strong possibility. I picked up a 2 dot a month or so ago for that very reason. Love the macassar ebony and 440c:thumbup:

Thanks for the info Larry or a Ratty,

Last week there was three of these on ebay and a lot of 2 pin 110's as well. The very nice ones sold for some big $$$$ at least to me. The one I was lucky to get had a bad photo. But, I was right that it had no pins (blade condition is poor). I like the used look so it was a deal for me. Still looking for the ever elusive 1 line 110;).

Well I finally got around to hitting it with the Never Dull and it came out real nice. More of and argument for just leaving it as is and becoming a becoming user. Also thought the blade may need a better person than me to sharpen her up, but it came shaving sharp easier than any 440c Ive done on my croc stics. They are generally too fine and not the right angle for the older edge profile(the Edge 2X is much easier)

Well the brass wasnt in real bad shape out of the box(shipping that is) but here it is shined up nicey nicey.

I know I showed these basic same views but I figgered no one would be upset to look at knife pics;)

Now that I just got hit in the head with my own stupidity, and realized this is a 3rd ver 8th var as mb correctly identified it, it'll definitely take a trip to Post Falls-hope the weather is nice this time of year:p
