East German AK Mags are some of the best made.

I would expect that the East German mags would be some of the best AK mags around. The Soviets tended to give the east German military some of their best stuff because if the war broke out in Europe then East Germany would be on the front lines right away so the East German army was one of the best equipped armies in the Comm bloc.

i have a few and they are good ones, i dont know that they are any better than any others though, i wouldnt pay a big premium for one just because its EG.

i have 2 or 3 for '47s and 8 for '74's and IIRC they ran about what any other one did but that was back when ya could get 4 EG '47 or '74 mags in a EG mag pouch for $19.95 lol i wish i woulda bought a truckload of the things.
