Easy HF portable band saw ( new model) mount

The new HF portable band saw is a knockoff of the Milwaukee. I just created a rock solid mount from some play set brackets I had sitting around. I lag bolted them to the bench and ran a bolt across the handle. Tightening the bolt squeezes the handle for a good grip. Removable with just the one bolt. Enjoy fellow frugal knife makers.

Nice! Might have to tryt this. It looks like the brackets could be mounted to a 2x4(with the bottom counter sunk so it would sit flat on a bench top) and then clamped to a bench. I've been racking my brain for a way to get something setup for this newer model.

That would work, or a piece of 3/4" plywood would be even more stable.
