 WHAT I HAVE TODAY IS MY FIRST EASY OPEN JACK . THE STEEL IS ATS-34 HEAT TREATED AN COLD QUENCHED TO A FINAL HARDNESS OF 59 -60 RC. THE BOLSTERS ARE STAINLESS AS IS THE SHIELD ALSO, WHICH HAS TWO PINS HOLDING IT IN PLACE. THE BLADE THICKNESS IS .O96". THE PULL IS EASY FOR THIS EASY OPEN AT AROUND 3. SNAPS GOOD IN ALL THREE FLUSH POSITIONS. THE OPEN LENGTH IS 6 1/2 " AN A CLOSED LENGTH OF ALMOST 3 3/4 ", SO THIS IS A GOOD SIZED EASY OPEN WITH A NICE HAND SANDED (1000 GRIT ) SPEAR POINT BLADE. THE BOLSTERS ARE HAND SANDED FROM 600 GRIT TO 6000 GRIT, SO A LOT OF TIME IS INVOLVED IN JUST THAT PART. THE INSIDE OF THE SPRING IS HAND SANDED TO 6000 GRIT ALSO. THE BLADE LAYS CENTER OF THE LINERS. COMES IN A LEATHER ZIP POUCH AN HAS A LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY. THIS IS SERIAL NUMBER 151. IM ASKING $( SOLD )TODAY ONLY or its gone tomorrow. Because of a small check in bone on mark side rear pin.the knife is perfect except this one blemish. ---Pay Pal Or Money Order is BEST. THANKS FOR LOOKING AN HAVE A GOOD AN GODLY DAY. ```````` JOE ALLEN DSCN1203.jpgDSCN1206.jpgDSCN1193.jpgDSCN1201.jpgDSCN1210.jpg

I"ve been emailed asking about the small surface check that looks like a crack, it is a surface check or heat crack on the surface an about 1/32 deep , does not go all the way thru the bone, it came when I was profiling the bone on the liners before I put the pin in, an got it to hot. I noticed it popped up. I took an eye lope an looked at it real close up. it is a surface crack an not from the pin causing it. but I know this is not a perfect knife. ( SOLD )

What ! Joe doesn't get back to you within 4 hours is an excuse not a reason. Joe Allen is one of the kindest most honest guys i know from these forums. Maybe he was working in his shop rather than sitting in front of his computer.
You just cut yourself off from a great knife at about half the price that other comparable knifemakers would charge.
