With the last "Catch Bit Show" podcast in mind, here is a thread for any and all traditional easy open models.
Here are a few oldies including a Camillus, Joseph Rodgers, and a Russell.
Please post any old or new models.

These are some fine examples but that Joseph Rodgers swell center jack caught my eye right away - what a beauty!

I'll have to peruse my collection but I don't know that I have very many easy-open knives.

Yes it is. :)
The Russell daddy Barlow lock back model was introduced around 1917 and is fairly uncommon variation.
Oh man! Now that’s about ten shades of cool! I never knew lockbacks dated that far back! I’m not much of a knife historian at all and I just thought the Buck 110 was the first. Learn something new indeed every day! Sorry to derail your thread, I just had to ask.

Thanks for the nice comments. Even for older collectors like Charlie and I, there's always another knife to find. :)

Thanks, and I appreciate your keen eye and good question.

Hoping to catch up with the podcast today :) Enjoying the knives though :)

I have quite a lot of these British Army 'Burma Knives':

And quite a few of this pattern too, this example by James Barber:

Jack Black, Thanks for all the great photos. (and a Stan Shaw, to boot!) I'm curious about that Trim Trio. I know you have hundreds, maybe thousands more knives than I do, but I've never seen a Trim Trio with that handle shape, and missing the spring tab on the spine. Could you please post another couple photos with all the blades and tools displayed, and any tang or makers stamps? Thanks.

Thank you very much, I'm going to be out for a few hours, but when I get home, I'll try and find it (I hope I have it right!). I have a couple I think. Even here, they're not that uncommon, I guess because so many were produced 👍

I love a good EO — as long as it fits the pattern.

Here are a few from GEC.

This #25 didn’t come with the EO. It was added by Bob “BigBiscuit.” I think it fits the pattern well, and the sheepsfoot versions (as well as the new “Beerlow”) came with an EO notch from the factory.
