Sorry if this has already been posted, I don't have search on yet.

I have been searching for TH info and plan on getting one for each vehicle and the go bag. I came across Ranger Knives which has a beautiful classic spiked hawk, but the sheath on one of their other hawks caught my eye. This is just a basic seamed fabric with Velcro. Looks like a vinyl/rubber lining.

Here are a few resources for making your own tactical gear:

Deployment Solutions TH sheath looks too big.

too much velcro, cannot be deployed silently ;) :D

DIY Tactical Store has 40 cent buckles that could be placed on the outside similar to the ATC sheath. If sewn diagonally then you might get a single buckle setup for faster deployment. The advantages of a custom sheath... you could pick the color/camo and add a stone pocket or sew it directly to your main gear for a stable and permanent position.

I like the simple velcro loops that could attach the Ranger Knives sheath to a belt or Molle. The stitching is no better then any cheap sewing machine.
