I bought a EB.LT at the NY show on Saturday, the knife is great !! I never got around to asking you this question , why are the G10 scales over sized ? It does seem to give a better grip, but I wanted to see if that was the reason.

You are exactly correct. Hold the knife in your hand with your worst GI Joe Kung Fu Grip and it is still better than the grip you will have on most CQB knives. This is what this tool was born for and once again, we don't care if its not ergonomic.
