Ok got it and as i suspected its rounded tip is 1/8 short. Not to bad for $16.80 +$7.25 shipping which included a 110 vintage sheath.
It’s all packed up and going to Buck for that sharpen and spa treatment. Anything i need to know would be helpful.
 
So sorry. Wish i could figure out how to post pictures. A picture is worth 100,000 words. On different sites i always post pics.
 
I always have trouble with pics on this site too. BTW you outbid me but I got a post '85 112 for $22.50 shipped.
 
Oh sorry. I get out bid all the time. I had a $52 max on mine and figured my 16.80 would go up but just got lucky. Really wanted the sheath the 112 was a bonus
 
Did you see a 3 dot with sheath just went for $25?? I was going to bid on it and wife got home and i got distracted.
 
As a side note i will try to post pictures of my knife or knives on the Buck Collectors club as i was able to post one out of 3 there. So if any of you are members look there if you like.

Could that be an older blade in a newer knife?

Could be the picture. Don't care either way.It will do it's job nicely when back.I will post before and after pics in my own post when it's back

David, I was also watching that one. Try to post pictures when you get it back. Use Imgur.
 
Imgur is pretty easy to use and it conveniently downsizes the pics for you at your request (so they fit the requirements here).

Ask questions ..... a lot of people here have been using Imgur.
