Okay. I sold a Sendero and a bowie by Jerry Fisk some times ago. I got a winner, he went by the name : impresskr. I contacted him to say 'congratulations', and also about the method of payment. I waited a couple days and he would not reply to my emails. I looked at his feedback, and he got 13 positive feedbacks, so I thought he might have had some problems or something.

I sent another emails and ebay receipts. Again, he did not respond to either. So, after a couple of weeks, I put negative feedbacks on his account because he failed to do his responsibility.

A month passed, and I am selling some of my collections on ebay again. When I checked the bidder history, he is listed as one of them. After a bad incident that caused me to lose money, I cancelled his bid. And also I explained the reason on why I did such thing in the auction description.

This morning, I checked my feedback, and the mofo put 2 negative feedbacks on me, saying :

Complaint : Crooked name plate on knife. Not listed in the description

and

Complaint : Knife maker confirmed knife had been repaired. This was not in description

First of all, why the phuck didn't he tell me that he wanted to retract his bid ?? I'd love to cancel his bid if he wanted to cancel it.

How dare he write something about knives that he didn't even buy/pay ??

How should I do about the phucker ? I tried to contact ebay, but I don't know thei email addy. Anyone can help me ?

I'm confused. If he never responded to your emails and never paid for the knife, thus never receiving the knives, how is he able to leave you negative feedback?

So this guy never paid and you never sent him the knives and he wrote that in your feedback? That's truly bizarre and I hope you left him negative feedback as well. I had someone win a knife from me two weeks ago on eBay and took 11 days for them to finally make payment. I sent her three reminders and eventually had to get her phone number from eBay. When I gave her a call she was extremely shocked and was minced for words ahahaha! She said that her husband bid on it and he was in a fire and was coming home today. I thought a better excuse was more approriate than that one...

Boy does that ever suck...

As mentioned, these will not be removed. However, there is a reply feature in the feedback system where you can leave your own note in your feedback profile. And if possible, leave HIM negative feedback or see if the system will let you make a comment on your previous feedback if you already did so. Rip him a new one, it's rather rude to leave negative feedback for such stupid reasons, and without contacting you first about the complaints. Common problem I guess. I must be lucky, I haven't had any problems yet on eBay(other that a strobe light for my car that mysteriously stopped working just before it was shipped - turned out to be a fuse, the idiot probably hooked it up to a power supply backwards).

in my opinion this is eBay's #1 flaw. Retaliation marks!

Without inside information it's extremely difficult to weed out the SOB's from the sincere.

I got 1 negative from some overzealous guy that claimed he wasn’t receiving my e-mails. Yet he actually responded to the last one!! I was shocked.

When everything went through (without delay!). He just said I'm sorry I was hasty. But he couldn't take the mark off. I was pissed and this situation turned my off to eBay.

They fix this, I'll come back.

Actually, you should be able to get the negatives removed, because you can prove he never paid for the items, well, actually its that HE cant prove he did, thus his feedback is a mistake and Ebay will remove feedbacks in such cases, but youd better get in touch with them fast and make sure that they know he didnt pay, and his feedback is either a mistake or blatant retaliation. Also, file immediately a "non paying bidder report" with Ebay.

Better put him on your blocked bidder list ASAP, he's current high bidder in another of your auctions, the JW Smith (be sure to cancel their bid on it first). From the looks of his bidding history, he bids on a lot of high end custom knives, but usually not high enough to make the reserve price. As far as the 2 Negs go, you may have a hard time getting them removed, about the only time they will do it are if one buyer leaves a lot of negs for you (I think they call that feedback bombing), or if they use profanity. You might want to consider setting up another account and starting over. In the future leave NO feedback for a NPB, the feedback system sucks bigtime, and leaving a neg almost insures you will get one in return. Just file the NPB reports and file to get your fees back.

Edited to add:

Your one hope of getting the feedback removed might be to pull his contact iformation and try giving him a phone call, if the number he listed with eBay is not legit, I believe you can get the neg removed for bad contact info.

I'm no expert on any of this, but do read the forums there too. Maybe Chuck or Danelle will chime in on this, those two are the eBay pros.

Beluga, it lools like the schmuck is trying to ruin all of your auctions. He'll probably try and outbid everyone on all your auctions just so he can leave negative feedback because he's pissed. I sent you email direct in case you haven't read this post. It pisses me off when asses like that ruin a perfectly good place to buy and sell items you can't necessarily find elsewhere for a good price. Get him on your blocked bidder list asap and cancel his bids.

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your problems. I had almost exactly the same thing happen to me - and the customer then started "cyberstalking" my auctions. She would wait until the last second and then bid and win, never pay and leave bad feedback. I tried blocking her but she had opened shell accounts and was using other id's to get me and other sellers. I documented everyting and emailed EBay several times. They finally removed the feedback and cut her off for some time. Maybe she's gotten counseling or something since then because she seems to have disappeared. However, the bottomline I found is if you have good feedback, if you sell alot and therefore are a money machine for EBay, they tend to try to be more helpful. I know this sucks. I feel for you and hope it works out well.
