EBay Customer Service SUCKS

Bought a $425 knife off eBay, had an issue with it and could never resolve it after DAYS of drama and online arguing with the seller actually never monitored by eBay. Unbelievably terrible experience.

I finally gave up. I'd now call it the "NO Resolution" department. Unbelievable.

I am selling my knives here as a Gold Member starting tomorrow and they can suck it.

Probably should be in Whine and Cheese thread, but had to vent! I'll be adding that seller there as well to warn others, but I have to get ready for work right now.
 
When I bought a knife off eBay, that was described as new and it wasn't, the seller at first resisted me returning it. I didn't continue to argue with him, just filed a item not as described case. eBay forced him to accept it back and I was refunded in full.
 
How did you pay for it? Paypal or not?
 
Yea funny thing is eBay's buyer protection WILL NOT allow sellers to screw over buyers so a simple complaint filed would get you your money back. Paypal has the same setup.
 
Like others said, never argue. Follow the process. It's almost entirely automated, no need to get emotional about a perceived slight and expect the ebay humans to get emotional about it with you. It's well designed, well vetted, and it works.
 
It's actually slanted well toward the buyer.As a seller i've been hung out to dry a few times with no recourse.But it's just part of the deal now.
 
That is what I would do in the future.

Right now I'm going to get a Gold membership (already had planned do) and sell them here.
