eBay Fakes

I've seen a lot of fakes around the Bay. There are some that are obvious, even to a novice like myself. Others, I can't really tell as much because I don't know every key indicator yet. Either way, I'm glad I have the forums. It's a shame that people who do not have the forums (and all your extensive knowledge) to fall back on get suckered into having their money taken.

Saw this in a local arms list as a AALB

It's fake but damn it's pretty good

Everything on that AALB looks correct to me (lines, coating, handles, talon holes, rivets, etc.), looks to me like a real AALB that someone just ordered with the "AA" or whatever on the non-logo side.
What gives away that its fake?

Yes, I'm not entirely convinced the AALB is a fake based on that one image either. Better closeups would be necessary.

I felt maybe there was an extra fuller where the AA was, instead of a raised part like on the non fake. It also seems like it could be too small but without more pictures and a reference yeah could be real.
