Not sure if this goes there, but I need some suggestions. I recently big and won a pair of benchmade 630s. Paid when I won and I have yet to hear from the guy or recieve them. I think he used to be a forum guy here. Tried to e-mail him severl times but message keeps coming back. If I had known I wouldn't have them by now, I would have ordered them some place else.

Anyway his e-bay name matches, a forum name on here: marauder220

Any suggestions?

It looks like he changed his ebay name to madjohanning. He may have a new email. If that doesn't work, try calling your credit card company and disputing the charge.

If you paid by credit card, tell your financial institution that you dispute the charge because the goods were never delivered.

If you used the USPS to send payment, contact the U.S. Postal Inspectors. This is possible Mail Fraud, a federal felony.

Moving to TGB&U ...

I searched and found a marauder220 here, but he only posted twice both on 12-14-2003. :(

Okay, cool..thanks for all the help guys.

I won the auction on the 15th. How long should I wait? Sounds like the guy is a late shipper. What do you think?

either he is a late shipper OR he only ships them out when threathened with a federal lawsuit!

Hi i had a similar deal but probably not the kinda money your talking about, I paid with paypal. I filed a claim within 30 days and paypal did the legwork and refunded my money shipping and bid price.
If by postal money order would recommend the above mentioned method of retrieval.
I had been buying on ebay for quite awhile with No problems then right after this deal another guy sent me "crap" knife and had to go through heck to be reimbursed but did get it done.
Don't give up and exhaust all forms of retrieval you can.
File a claim against them in "safeharbor" or complaint against them so no one else can get burned.
Good Luck.

2 days left before the 7-10 day shipping thing ends. then I will start tracking him down. Not worried about the money, got massive online protection. Just want my knives. Course it would have been easier if he had simply e-mailed me or left a valid e-mail address.
