So I bought a PM2 off of ebay before I knew that that was a sketchy thing to do... I am 99% sure I have a real one but please chime in and give me peace of mind lol. Thanks In advance!

P.S. uploading pictures here kinda sucks :D

With the lighting in the photo's it is hard to tell because of the glare but it looks like the real deal to me. Proper bevels on the edges of the g10, 4-position clip, correct blade markings, etc...

Looks real to me and I don't think there's that much risk if your buying from a reputable dealer.

Looking okay but ...

Can you post a better picture of the spine jimping? Like image #4 but in full 90° profile. From the posted images, they don't appear to be cant'ed to the rear but straight up.

Also, did you get a box? If so, post a pic of the label bar code end.

they looked angled back to me. Another thing is if the lock bar side is milled it should be real.

LOOKS authentic to me.... one sign to look for other than box, jimping, etc., is the sharpened side usually stops short of running flush into the ricasso

Looks legit to me.

Also Ebay has a bad reputation here which I don't really think it entirely deserves. If you buy from a reputable dealer with 99.5%+ feedback score it's probably going to be legit.

And obviously don't buy it if it's too good to be true. Like a Paramilitary going for $30

You'll never know for sure will you.

My only question is how much did you save by buying from this dealer causing your "1%" angst instead of finding a deal from someone here on BladeForums or an associated retailer?.

I think everyone has a slanted view of everything eBay. It really depends on how you use it. Granted if you go on eBay just to find the cheapest price, than yes as echoi says "how much did you save"! It doesn't have to be that way though. I have some long standing relationships with a couple ebayers. I've talked via ph and email many times to these guys and never have any doubts when I order from them. I have no knife shops within a hundred miles. I have bought from individuals and businesses on the forum and have had only good experiences but I don't feel bad when I use my eBay connections either.

there are some very respectable dealers that sell knives on ebay, if you buy from them you will be ok.

[Deal Spotting is NOT allowed, read the rules~]
