I forget this guys 'seller's name', but it is something like "rdophi".
I took a 'buy it now' from his auction of a John Greco knife. It was listed as "Fighter #1". I hadn't heard of that model before, but then again, I'm not too familiar with John Greco's older work. This piece resembles John's "Little Baron" model, but has jigged bone scales-pretty nice in fact. It also came with a light brown pouch sheath and not a black one. Knife was as pictured on the auction site, but upon inspection I could see where it had been sharpened by someone. My guess is that a Spyderco Sharpmaker may have been used as the tip was rounded quite a bit.
Just wanted to comment that the sale went well. Not much communication though. But he did respond to my emails when I contacted him. Shipping was good, and well packaged.
All in all a positive experience.
If I get a chance I'll throw a pic or two up on the Gallery, see if anyone has seen a Greco like this before.
