Ebay Redundancy

Went to Ebay for some info on my Case Tribal Lock that Greg Leslie Tomville was so generous in GAW.
Out of 42 listings , 14 are of the exact same knife by the same seller. How does that make sense for them or the seller?

If he is selling them for less than what he paid for them, he stands to make a profit. If he has them, you stand to get your knife. If he fails to deliver, your payment by PayPal gives you some protection.
