So after trying 2-3 times to get a knife from Scrapyard, I saw a fairly decent Scrapper 6 listed on eBay at a decent price.

Yup... won the knife, paid promptly as I always do and nothing... It's been 10-days now, and the seller hasn't reponded to single attempt to contact.

Seems they know Busses, as they've had a few listed before and also have a 100% positive rating after 93 transactions... jdjt63 is the ebay name.

So, if anyone knows James D Taylor from Rock Hill, SC 29730 United States, ('jdtaylor1@comporium.net') please have him check his f*&^ing email and ship the knife.

If not, he's getting reported pronto.

Let's move this to the right forum. ;)

Bag it, initiate a dispute - you've got 20 days to initiate under ebay policy.

Yup... good advice. Seems another guy was burned on a BATAC at the same time. We're both going the above route.

Pretty funny being scammed on something as stupid as a knife... Unreal.

I would first attempt to make phone contact.

Copy the Item number, then go to the Advanced Search area and on the left you will see Request Contact Information , click on that and Paste his User ID and and the Item # and they will send you his number.

Just my $0.02 Good Luck.

The entire reason the dispute process is there is to avoid the hassle of trying to solve this yourself. If you want to call this mook, I would put the dispute in first and then I would call the guy who has your knife and your money.

If you put the dispute in, they will give it the appropriate time to be solved and they Ebay forces a refund if the dispute is not handled.

I called a schmuck Ebay seller at one time because he sent me a Strider MFS instead of a Strider SA. (yes, I know...prison shiv made of S30V, sharp corners, all that horseshit, but the price was really right) However, the value of the MFS was a lot less than the SA, about 30% less, and I did not want an MFS. The guy even posted a pic of the SA right off the strider website so he knew it was the wrong knife.

I called this guy immediately, and he was of course going to refund, all I needed to do was send the knife back. After that I emailed him every day - just a funny feeling - I wanted the shipping refunded, since I was returning an item that was incorrect, not a buyer's remorse situaton. he ignore this for for nearly a week as he was trying to string me out. I filed a grievance and a dispute, he did not bother to respond to any of the emails, grievance or dispute.

I got a full refund from this Ebay (minus shipping charges) but under ebay policy I kept the knife as well. The knife was donated to www.jerzeedevil.com for forum upkeep.

Don't bother calling this guy is my advice, instead, follow the procedure you know is going to protect you. Either this will instigate him to folow thru or you will get your money refunded.

Thanks Parker.. I agree fully. Why should the buyer need to track-down a scamming seller? Why would I want to spend any time out of my day to call someone who essentially stole money from me and another buyer?

We'll both run thru eBay's dispute process... all deadbeats do is give excuses.

Get all your ducks in a row, i.e., all of your emails, date and times that you placed calls, the "You Won" url and your payment receipt (PayPal?), M.O. number, etc. File your claim with PayPal before the time limit runs out. The seller should have contacted you by now in some manner within 10 days.

I noticed this guy just put another knife up for auction on the auction site. A desert tan Batac with snakeskin. Probably a good idea to stay away.
It looks like the same Batac that was sold to 94vetman.
