I live in rural Australia and unfortunately am forced to buy nearly all my knives from the web. Over a month ago I bought a Fallkniven F1 from eBladeStore.com. It didn't take them long to bill my credit card. I was told by them on the 1st September that my order would be filled shortly. In response to an email from me, on the 15th September they replied that my order would be shipped next week. On the 27th September, again in response to an email from me, they told me my order was in the warehouse the day before and may even have been shipped and that I would receive the "official notice" of shipping sometime next week. It is now the 2nd of October and I have still not received the "official notice" of shipping. I have emailed them again and am waiting for a reply. Has anyone here had any dealings with eBladeStore.com?

never heard of them, but I'd call your credit card & cancel the charge immediately - if you still have that option. Then, regardless, email your order cancellation to ebladeStore. Then buy from someone who's actually been reliable in the past. There is no reason to accept terrible service when so many decent busineses are eager to do right by you. My .02

Glenn,

Please post a follow-up to your dealings with eBladeStore. Thanks. Hope everything works out.

Basically nothing much has happened. I sent another 2 emails to them requesting advice on the status of my order. Neither email was answered. I then discussed the matter with my credit card company. They advised me that the best plan of action was to cancel my order and if my card wasn't credited with the amount paid within 30 days of the cancellation I was to let them know. I cancelled my order and received a polite reply from ebladestore that my money would be refunded within the next two weeks. All I plan on doing now is waiting and checking that the money deducted from my credit card is refunded.:grumpy:

What a hassle.

I'm going to put eBlades on my list of companies that I won't do business with. Just had a bad experience with BladeUniverse aka BladeRealms aka Blade-X myself. Stay away from those guys, too.

Thanks for the follow up.

I recently received an email from Jason from eBladeStore.com. Jason said he only just realised the mess-up eBladeStore.com had made of my order of over two years ago. He apologised and offered to send me a free Fallkniven F1 (the knife on the original order). I accepted this offer and the knife has just arrived. I have to tell you that is the best deal I have ever been given. My thanks to Jason and eBladeStore and I am very happy with my new knife - the two year wait was worth it - and the price is unbeatable.:D

Wow, that is really impressive! I've never heard of a company doing that after two years no less! If your experience signals a change in their attitude towards customer service then perhaps eBladeStore.com deserves a second chance by those who wrote them off when you first posted in '03. Kudos to them for doing right by you.

Ed

That sure is going out of the way to make things right.Seems like they are correcting whatever service problems they had, congratulations on the knife and thumbs-up for eBladeStore.com doing right by you!

Emailed them several times to get info on stock of an item, displayed as "ships whitin 24hrs". No reply.
Called them several times. No reply.
Ordered the item, and I asked via email about status of my order after 4 days of "processing". No answer.
Called them, no answer, the usual automatic message.
Total scam. Called my credit card company for investigation of fraud.
Awful. Stay well clear of www.ebladestore.com scam fake site Fraud

Hi
Just for everyone to know that the above website is scam.
They never reply to emails, belfre and after buying the item, (over more than a week), never answer phone calls (about 10-15 calls- with a automatic reply that says the same rubbish over and over again) and most importantly never sent my knife, which was advertised as "ships within 24hrs"- this was 4 working days ago, 5 days in total.
I opened an investigation through my credit card company.
This website is a fraud.
Incidentally ebladestore on ebay has tons of neg feedback and seems the same guy who runs it.
Never order anything from ebladestore.com unless you want to lose money.

Cheers
