Ebony Arkansas Hunter

That knife was meant for ebony!! Beautiful!! Thanks for the pics.
Looks like I have no choice . . . . . .gotta get one!!

Tony Bose customs are as good as it gets but this a elatively plain factory made knife.
How can Case possibly ask over $300 for a single blade folder that may or may not come up to the same company's standards of only a few decades ago?

Have you handled one? This one looks a little more difficult than the others with all of those edges and corners. From what I've heard, they are quite nice.

I've had a few Case/Bose knives and I felt they were worth the money I paid for them.

Of course, you can vote with your wallet as you see fit. :)

SG, my understanding is, the steel is 154-CM, the blade has a fitted bushing, the liners are relieved, and the fitting is done only by a small elite crew of cutlers. If you have ever tried to finish flat, beveled bolsters, and maintain clean straight edges, you would probably say the knife is cheap at $300-325!!
This is not a run-of-the-mill production knife.

You do pay a premium for it being collectible. When the pattern is less popular, the prices get below MSRP.

Finally got mine....got it on the cheap...on the bay.
