This is a hand forged 5160 drop point blade. The blade has been glass bead blasted and so has the oval nickel fullered guard.
The handle is stabilized ebony and a mosaic pin.

This is a great user and comes with a left or right sheath that needs to be made. For a small to small/medum size hand.

Measurement: 9 1/4" overal
Blade: 5"
Cutting: 4 1/4"
Thick: 3/16"
Handle: 4"
guard: 1/4" oval fullered edge

Cost: $135 includes shipping and sheath inside USA.

Thats a very nice knife. It looks like classy as well as a great user. I can see this one being sold quick. To bad my hands fall into the large to extra large category.

Exactly the same comment, if that had a bigger handle, 5" inches of wood sold. I would buy it instantly. Keep that style of half guard coming out, great for big hands, is my opinion.

Really like the look of the glass bead blasted blade, the smooth rounded handle looks very comfortable. I think that's one of the nicest knives you have made. The blade, guard and handle all come together very well making one extremely nice knife.

If you can make another one of those with the same blade, guard and a 5" handle at the same price I will take it. If your out of ebony a different wood is ok, see what you have in stock, let me know?

Great knife, nice to see DP is back :)

Good for you Mick57 and well done Daniel!

Thanks SpearZ. I actually prefer full tang knives, but I really love the classic look of this & it was screaming at me to grab it. Great knife at a great price....can't beat that.

Thanks Dan. Glad I snagged this one in time. It's a beauty!

Mick57 I am with you on that. It is funny, you see allot of knives, then one comes along and you know it's just got that something special, this is one of them.

Going to be nearly the same, the drop point blade but with 5" cotton wood burl handle for my big hands. Really looking forward seeing it at my house.

Sounds nice! Nothing like custom made to your specs. Show us a pic when you get it.
