Finally finished my first handmade knife! :D

This is a hunter forged from 1084 High Carbon steel, with a nickel-silver guard, ebony handle, and mosaic pin. The sharpened blade is 3.5" long with a 4" handle; 8-1/4" overall length. The whole knife is hand-rubbed to a 600-grit finish, and the handle is sanded to 600-grit then buffed to a polish. The mark was engraved with a diamond-stylus pantograph machine.

This knife started about nine months ago in Old Washington, Arkaknsas. Forged and ground the blade there, and did the finish and handle here in Victorville. Took a lot longer than I would have liked, but for my first effort I am pretty happy with the results.

What do you guys think?

Steven,
Great knife.Very nice hunter.
Love the leaf shape blade, reminds me of.Marble's.
The plunge line looks cool with that shape blade and is where I'd want it to be.
That Ebony handle shape flows with that blade.
As a first knife it's a stunning hunter.
Congratulations,
Doug

Most excellent! I really, really like the look of this one, Steven. Be sure and let me know when you start taking orders.
