Can't decide which one to get now, I can get the other one at christmas.

Enchelon is pretty badd ! I wonder what it would look like customized....

Something like this? ;)

I still greatly prefer the skyline though. The echelon needs a steel liner of some sort. It is simply too light for my tastes.

RIT fabric dye + the stove top instructions on the box. I had to leave it simmering for almost 12 hours to get it that color, but a darker dye wouldn't take nearly as long. :cool:

:thumbup::thumbup: :D

Live in Greenville? What would happen if you dyed some black g10 scales?

Born and raised in the shadow of Death Valley. You couldn't pay me to live anywhere else. ;)

Dying black G10 would do absolutely nothing since you can only go from a lighter color to a darker one. This doesn't leave orange as an option for many knives, but the raw G10 on the Echelon should be able to be dyed to any color you desire.

Born in Japan, raised in the shadow of everything good n southern haha.

Yeah that's what I figured... I guess I would have to paint them and flea cost them. Prob wouldn't be good for the grip.

I think I'm going to get the Echelon and dye it, lol.

The only real reason I was considering a Skyline was because I found an orange one.

Different colored scales would certainly be awesome.

It'd probably be possible to do multicolor scales, I might try that.
