I still greatly prefer the skyline though. The echelon needs a steel liner of some sort. It is simply too light for my tastes.
RIT fabric dye + the stove top instructions on the box. I had to leave it simmering for almost 12 hours to get it that color, but a darker dye wouldn't take nearly as long.Ok I am digging that Orange Echelon - how do you get that color?

Born and raised in the shadow of Death Valley. You couldn't pay me to live anywhere else.
Dying black G10 would do absolutely nothing since you can only go from a lighter color to a darker one. This doesn't leave orange as an option for many knives, but the raw G10 on the Echelon should be able to be dyed to any color you desire.
