Good Day,

First I have to say this....

I am totally enchanted by knives of irregular, ecletic, offbeat, and/or unique design.

So, when I was over at the Martindale site, I happened to look around a bit, and noticed that they sell machetes and the like all over the world. And the patterns are just too cool.

Just click on the Latin America link, and then click on the arrows to navigate to all the different pages with all the cool knives.

MDP,

Thanks for the link, I added it to my bookmarks.

I enjoy looking at exotic knives. It is probably the best way to understand knife design. Each aboriginal pattern eveolved overe many generations to give advantage under a unique set of circumstances. If you want to know what works you have to study what the resident population uses and how they use it.
