Hey guys,
I know we had another thread where a 110 ecolite didnt close the point all the way in and I hate to be a wet rag but I won an eco 112 for gooood price a week ago or so and got it today. I followed the tracking at work and couldnt wait to get home and thoroughly enjoy it(even though its a girly nife
) I opened her up and she locked up beautious but when I closed it, I repeatedly saw this...
It was already oiled but I cleaned and oiled again to no avail
It appears it catches on the front left liner right where it recesses to a half width. I messaged the seller who said I could send it back and he would order a new one and also suggested I send it in to Buck for warranty. I gotta send it either way so its probably best to send it to Buck. What do you guys think?
I had the thought that I have a couple oldies, specifically 1st ver 1st var micarta 112 and a 2 dot 110, that could use a sharpen and buff. One of those flat rate boxes would getem there all together for cheap. I took a couple pics of the blemishes on the 112 and would also like your opinion if thier standard sharpen/buff would smooth out the nicks in the micarta?

thanks in advance and sorry about the wacked out thumbnail orientation
