Economic Stimulus....KMG give-away (Closed to further entries)

Rob, this is an incredible thing you're doing! I sat out because I already have two grinders, and it sounded like you wanted it to go to a newer maker or one who didn't already have a good grinder. But it sure was tempting! I'd love to add a KMG to my quiver...

Again, I salute you for your generosity. It's easy to see why you and the KMG have the reputation you do around here.

Talk about a feeding frenzy. Looks like 99 folks can have a crack at it. Good going Rob. You're a champ! Since I've been shut out of this opportunity (geesh a guy can't be on this spectacular forum every bloody minute) just wanted to put a bug in your ear for the next time you might get inspired philanthropically.

I will now unabashedly make a plug for our nonprofit educational institution, the Honolulu Waldorf High School. We'd sure put one of your machines to fantastic use in our forging classes, especially when we make knives. We have a spike knife project in beginning forge and a heat treated knife with handle and hardware in a mixed media forge class. So, if you ever have a refurb or some such looking for a home...please think of us. We buy a LOT of supplies for all those kids. :D

Wow what a fantastic way to stimulate the economy ! I couldn't express my thanks when I posted my number selection due to UPS freight ringing the doorbell delivering the motor purchased to power a KMG. Perhaps now I'll win this one! Thank you very much for the oppurtunity to have a chance in this give-away. This Idea of yours really speaks volumes as to who you are as person and I for one will be very pleased to some business with your company in the hopefully not to distant future. -Josh P.S. I hear you, Rob. Although I think so much of the economic issue could have been lessened had it not been for the "media hype". Hell, the stores here are still packed, restaurants are busy and the only things not selling are cars and homes! Hope things continue to go well for you and this contest just proves that KMG is the way to go if you're looking for a great grinder from a great guy!!!

Rob your offer is a gracious one but leaves me puzzled . Why are CANADIAN S always left out of draws ?? Here I am in desperate need of a grinder. I have heard the shipping storys but if anyone ships its all the same 3 words on a declaration form and mail it all the same. I would pick 27 but I can offer to BUY the grinder off the winner as 90 % of the people already have a grinder. winner can email me$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

He offers to give away a grinder, and pay the shipping, but you want to complain about how he's giving away good value items for free?

I don't know how y'all do things in Canada, but around here in Mississippi, griping about a thing like that would be considered just plain tacky. ("Tacky", for those not fortunate enough to live in the South, means "bad form".)
 
Rob doesn't ship to Canada, it's been that way for a long time. I don't see a problem with him keeping his policies on his giveaway items.
