Nope, the ecomy tells me to buy American knives and support the businesses, but then again being in highschool with noone desiding to hire me my knife buying has been way limited. Too bad i want a sebbie :(

Unfortunately yes... but it just makes me look all that harder to find killer deals and do more research than I would normally do. So maybe not a bad thing.

Yes. Have you noticed the Production Knives for Sale by Individual? There seems to be a lot more knives there and they are not moving as fast as the have in the past.

What "current economic climate" do you refer to? The price of oil? All I did was dump a gas guzzler and buy a car that gets double the gas mileage. I haven't really notice anything else that has changed. I still buy about the same number of knives and firearms as I always have

Of course I do live in Indiana, growth here is steadily climbing thanks to a Governor who has in 4 short years reduced the state debt to zero and moved us back into the black thus freeing up money for all sorts of projects that increase employment and the local econemy.

Yes. I'm on "Knife Restriction" (Wife-imposed, and self-imposed) until I start back to work in January.

Though my job is safe (for now) and I have no debt except a mortgage, yes my purchases have slowed. We've lost a lot of money in the market and we are trying to increase savings as well as payoff the house.

The wife and I have gone to an envelope system and each get $100 allowance a month. I bought a San Mai BK11 last week but it came out of a credit balance in Paypal.

My main thing is changing from buying on a whim to asking for things as gifts. I have asked for a Queen Abalone handled copperhead for Christmas.

No,

I do my best not to participate in "hard times" or set my self up for them.
