Ed Caffrey San Mai Belt Knife

San Mai blade with 52100 core. Full, tapered tang. Great stag. Blade is beefy, with a distal taper and a nice fine edge, like Ed usually does. I originally bought this knife for over $1400 with an enormous elk handle, which is how the original customer wanted it, then I had Ed rehandle the knife to proper proportions with some great stag. Replacement value would be around $1500. The knife is mint and is really nice. No sheath. $1400

Blade is just a hair over 5" and overall length is just a hair under 10". A hair is maybe 1/16". This knife feels great in the hand. Let me know what you have for trade,

Pete, Thanks for the response, i am more attracted to smaller knives,(8" and under) so this is a bit large for my tastes. Sure is a fine piece tho. thanks kevin
