I'd love to know more about how he does his handles. I assume the shorter piece nearer the blade is a section that is "cross cut" from the horn, while the larger piece is a "length" of horn.
I've been drying a bunch of ram / sheep horn myself for future use. I've actually even saved some of the core bones, but I think the bone might be much too thin for use as a handle material.
