Thought you guys might want to check this out. I can't swing it. Maybe one of you Fowler fans might get lucky and snag it.
Scroll down to the 5th set of knives. www.cuttingedge.com/special

That Ron Gaston drop point is stunning, too! (I should know better than to go to that site)

For a moment there Al I thought you had gotten a Pronghorn and were posting to brag about it. I was going to curse you and your fantastic taste (expensive too

) and covet your newest knife. Thank god you saved me from that indignity.

Thanks Dave......I missed those other Fowlers. I got as far as that second set of Randalls and bugged out in frustration! Actually, only 2 more of those are by Ed. the other 4 I see, are by an understudy, Bill Burke. Dead ringers for Fowlers though, aren't they? Wouldn't mind having one of those myself.... And to think, as recently as 3-4 years ago, you could still acquire a second market Fowler for as little as $250 to $275!

Aloha Thomas! I thought you might be out there. I mean "out there" in the cyber sense, of course!

Hey, I wish I WAS in position to brag about another Fowler. Can't complain much....Picked up some nice knives this past year. Monday I took delivery on one of those new Randall Model 27 Trailblazers, and yesterday on a Wally Hayes Typhoon Kozuka. Really sweet.

ptpalpha....I hear ya. My bank account only hurts when I go like this... and it's in a lot of pain as of late!
