T3 SERE 80crv2 steel. I’m original owner. Paid $465 directly from Mr Martin. I was so excited to use this one I proceeded to take apart a tree stump prior to noticing the grinds being slightly uneven, logos being crooked and fit / finish on par with what some may consider a second. I’m mentioning these flaw’s because I believe in 110% transparency, not mentioning this to mar Ed Martins reputation. I have absolutely no doubt that Mr Martin would have accepted a return or amended this situation had I requested it.
Now that full disclosure is out of the way..
80crv2 steel, 5.25 blade, .25 stock, Green Canvas Micarta, Brass hardware, flat grind, makers leather sheath. I have used this one sparingly, let it patina deliberately and touched up the edge hastily. I guess I intended to make this a dedicated hard user but my 3/16 stock version has that spot covered ( the .25 version actually cuts better than the .19 due to the flat grind). The spine on this knife will throw sparks. I kind of put this knife into the same category as a BK2 or Esee 5 ( possibly a BBT 5 ). This is a used user with flaws. I’m going to ask a lot less than I paid for this knife.
