Hi all,

I haven't been feeling well so haven't posted in quite a while. I'm back on the horse again, so to speak, and have a couple pieces here that I've been meaning to post.

The EDC#1 is a "special edition", in x-thick stock and with a swedge. The blade is ground as a pure slicer. This is basically a box cutter with a much beefier feel.

The slim sheepsfoot is built specifically for Pocket carry. I wanted it extra light, so went with G10 for the guard. I made sure it had a full sized handle, and a nicely sized blade. This one is also ground as a slicer.

6.375 OAL, 2.5" edge length, 4.6oz

Slim pocket carry Sheepsfoot, CTS-XHP & Box Elder Burl + G10

Thanks for the comments... These are both nice pieces but it looks like I may have priced them a little high. I dropped each a bit. This will be the only drop.

Ian,

I don't think you overpriced them. I already have a similar Wharncliffe from you and just picked up a CTS-XHP mini utility, so I am a tad saturated at this point. However, that sheepsfoot keeps calling to me. I'll see how long I can resist.

That makes me feel better... I was unsure because I think I remember selling the last "se" wharnie for around the same price with leather, so thought maybe I needed to drop a hair since I was going kydex on this one. Knife pricing is tricky. :p

Actually for the Wharncliffe kydex is a great option. I went with the leather pocket sheath, and you did a great job, but those Wharnies of your's are deceptively beefy. It is hard to tell from the picture how much it will fill your hand (and pocket ;) ).

It's a neat little pattern. There's more to it than meets the eye.

I originally designed it for a bartender that needed a low key blade for opening liquor boxes, etc.

It hides in your hand for quick cutting tasks

Works nicely for zipping open boxes

Also does well getting under straps, twine

Here's some of my kydex work
