I'm looking for a new EDC for about $200. I like striders but they are little to expensive, maybe a Zero Tolerance 350.

Any suggestions for $200?

I currently have ....

BM 710 D2
BM Griptilian
Spyderco Delica, Native, and Manix
Kershaw JYD Composite

If you're wanting something that will do pretty much the same things as a Strider but with a lower price tag, I think you're looking in exactly the right place with Zero Tolerance.

+1 for ZT. Just got my 0551, and it is amazing. Paid a little more than $200 for it though. If you can wait, maybe try to get the flipper version when they come out. Otherwise the 0350 is pretty nice too :D

I have a zero tolerance 350 which has been my edc of late. Its an excellent knife, however, the blade slices poorly even after i reprofiled it to 30 degrees inclusive. I got mine used on the exchange for $75 and they come up new for $100. There is no need to pay $200 for a knife if you feel the 350 will suit you needs, (and paired with your delica, it would make a great slicer/utility combo). If you do feel like you want to spend $200 though, i would look at

Sprint run spydercos EG: para 2, Manix
Zt's 301, maybe a 551 if you are willing to spend a little extra.
Higher end benchmades, 755, m390 710, etc
Theres plenty for ya.

hm...how does the cutting performance of the ZT blades compare to Spyderco? My spyderco's are the sharpest OTB knife i own but the composite kershaw is close. My BM aren't as sharp but are plenty sharp for everyday use.

The Spyderco Gayle Bradley Carbon Fiber has me interested too. It can be found for $150.

ZT 300 series
ZT 0551/0550
Spyderco Manix 2 (one of the sprint runs)
Bradley Alias I

The ZT550/551, ZT350, and spyderco gayle bradley are the front runner so far. Lots of good reviews.

Maybe I should wait for the ZT777.
