EDC a ceramic blade: Good or bad idea?

What about a combo of Boker Plus Anti-Gravity and Kershaw Shuffle on my keys? I have an office job so EDC for me means mainly opening letters and packages

I never understood having that material as a blade. It's brittle, not terribly sharp, and an absolute bastard to resharpen.

Plus, if you're using it for food and it chips, theres a good chance that you're going to be ingesting shards of silicon carbide. The molecular structure of SiC lends itself to be INSANELY sharp when fractured, and would be the last thing I want roaming around in my bowels.

Bad. The ones I have had experience dull with moderate use and chip like crazy.

If you take it easy on it, it might last you a while but I wouldn't count on it.
